A trio of hand potted and hand painted Chinese blue and white saucers from 18th and 19th Centuries.   The three porcelain saucers were hand thrown and hand painted. The cobalt used varies from medium blue to almost black. They have patterns from a willow ware pattern, scrolling lotus, and a free form like grass and water plants. The glaze thickness varies from thin to thick. The glaze on the darker dish with grass and water plants has an especially thick glaze. The two 19th century saucers show grit on the undersides. The late 18th century saucer with the willow pattern has more refined potting and no grit.   They all have shallow foot rings that are not glazed. The scrolling lotus saucer has a manufactures mark on the base. The other two saucers don’t have any marks.   MEASUREMENTS Dish with scrolling lotus design – 5 3/8” (13.5 cm) diameter x 7/8” (2.2 cm) tall.
