Dated Emperor Antoninus Pius Roman Empire silver denarius coin, 3.26g, RIC 238v (see RIC 229a), RSC 201v. Issued 154/5 CE (TR P XVIII). Rare apparently unpublished reverse variant where Vesta is holding Simpulum and Palladium. Both RIC & RSC describe Vesta as sacrificing with Patera over altar and holding Palladium. NGC Certified to AU, great style, well struck with lustrous toned surfaces. Obverse: ANTONINVS AVG PIVS PP TR P XVIII, laureate bust of emperor. Reverse: COS IIII, Vesta standing left holding simpulum and paladium. No International Shipping.
