Mirror, Mirror: A Drawing Class with Lindsay Stripling

WEDNESDAY, JULY 23, 6:30 - 8:30pm PTThis is an in-person workshop at CfM Art Room:4035 Judah St, San Francisco, next door to our shop!Drawing and painting people can feel impossibly hard and intimidating- let alone finding a way to do it that feels like your own! It can be easy to get caught up in needing to do it correctly, having to get other people to pose in ways that we need them to and seeking things outside of ourselves to help us navigate drawing bodies. The wild thing is that we have been having bodies since we were born! In this class we will explore the many ways you can use yourself as a starting point for reference in drawing bodies.  We will go over very basic anatomy and drawing and how to utilize what you see and feel in your own body through multiples. We will use our phones to record ourselves in a few different ways and then discuss how to utilize these images as information. The point of this class is to leave with a better understanding for how to use what you know
