This learning activity reviews medical ethics, key ethical principles, common ethical dilemmas and strategies to overcome these dilemmas, and the professional responsibility toward others. After completing this learning activity, the participant should be able to: Recognize principles of medical ethics. List decision-making strategies that can apply to common ethical dilemmas. Identify the importance of professional responsibility and conduct.  2 AMA PRA Category I Credit(s)™TMB: At least 2 of the 24 formal hours must involve the Study of Medical Ethics and/or professional responsibility. Professional responsibility includes but is not limited to courses in: Risk management, Domestic Abuse; or Child Abuse.
