2023 Ye Lai Xiang - Dan Cong 夜来香"
Ye Lai Xiang translates to "night blooming jasmine aroma", and that already gives us a good description of this wonderful tea! Besides from the wonderful Jasmine aroma, we noted a creamy caramel, low bitterness and and an extremely clean tasting tea! The aftertaste is also very nice and relaxing. We give this tea top score! ProcessingHand picked in spring 2023. Then carefully sun-withered, partially oxidised, and dried. Stems were removed, only the dark twisted leaves were used for the final product and these leaves were carefully roasted over charcoal. Brewing instructionsBoiling water, high tea/water ratio, "Gong fu style". We recommend a small, ready warmed up Chaozhou teapot or porcelain Gaiwan: 50-100 ml and fill with tea leaves. Then brew short, 3-10 sec. according to desired strength. OriginElevation: 1100 meter, Wudong Mountain, Chaozhou, Guangdong Province, China
