October Magic® Inspiration™ Camellia

Camellia sasanqua ‘Green 97-039’ PP20566   October Magic Inspiration Camellia is possibly the most lovely member of the October Magic camellia series developed by Bobby Green of Green Nurseries in Fairhope, Alabama. As its name implies, October Magic Inspiration puts on a lovely show of blooms in fall and winter. The large, loose peony flowers are white with a narrow maroon margin and are lightly fragrant. Use as a screen around a semi-shady deck and enjoy all October Magic Inspiration has to offer!     Be sure to use a well drained soil medium when planting any Camellia as they prefer less watering than you might think. In NC our soil is clay so we prefer to use pine bark soil conditioner when planting Camellia, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, and Azalea.
