Crushed White Selenite Blades (Gypsum) from Morocco, Coarse Crush (2mm-4mm in Width, 0.5cm-2cm in Length)
Selenite, also known as gypsum, is a white evaporite mineral that forms in distinctive thin blades. Because selenite crystallizes as thin blades, it also crushes up into progressively smaller, elongate crystals during the crushing process. This particular selenite is very clean and is from Morocco. Our coarse material is considered to be pea-sized gravel, with the average width of the selenite blades, ranging between 4 millimeters to 2 millimeters. The average length of the selenite blades range between 0.5 centimeters to 2 centimeters. Please see the corresponding sediment size chart.
