Green Eversharp Skyline - Flexible stub
No other pen will ever be confused with the Raymond Loewy designed Eversharp Skyline. Almost nothing says art deco better. The barrel and derby are dark green. The cap is alternating amber and green strips in transparent celluloid. The derby fits snugly in the top of the cap and holds the clip securely. The clip has some plating loss and a bit of a flat spot at the front of the derby; probably from a drop. But it is strong and secure. The polystyrene barrel is in very good condition with only a small, ring shaped scratch at the tail and slight ink staining at the end of the grip section. The lever has inevitable plating loss where the edge of the cap rubs when posted on the barrel. This nib is the focal point. Wahl-Eversharp continued to produce quantities of flexible nibs when most other American pen companies seem to have only offered them by special order. Not only is this nib gloriously flexible, it is also a stub. I'm not adept with such a nib so my writing sample does not display
