This is a crystal cluster of rich black tourmaline, also known as Schorl. The cluster features striated structure and excellent luster--schorl is prone to brittleness and breakage, so the structural lines and minimal damage of this crystal make it especially desirable. The black tourmaline crystals are terminated, and the tan-white feldspar matrix has an organic roughness. Damaged section are minimal. This cluster of inky black crystals on white matrix would be ideal for display, gridding, or jewelry work! Perfect for the healing or specimen collector in your life.
