AGE: A best seller in 1939! ITEM: From Elijah Cotton Ltd aka LORD NELSON, here's a hard to find bud vase in the MARINA pattern. CONDITION: Very nice with no problems I can spot. Light crazing all over (the norm), gold rim is still intact, no chips/cracks/flea bites, nice feel to the piece. HALLMARKS: "Marina" Chintz Reg. 821468, with a green stamp that reads MADE IN ENGLAND SIZE: Stands 5" high; width at the opening is 1-5/8"; width at the bottom base is 1-9/16"; width at the center of the piece is about 2-5/16". CHARLTON VALUE: In 1997, Charlton Standard Catalogue of Chintz (Vol II) - the value of a Marina bud vase was $125.
