Reed & Barton's Francis I pattern is one of the most collectible Sterling Silver (hallmarked as pictured) patterns in the world. It was created by Ernest Meyer in 1906, and started production in 1908. At once both popular and fashionable, the heavy repousse floral/fruit border to each piece bent newlyweds towards its pattern. May I offer this very hard-to-find bud vase - flower vase featuring a bulbous body and a 1" wide fold over lip. Height is about 2-1/4"; width across the top is 3-3/8". The base measures 1-1/2" across and weight is 80 grams. No monogram and no dents/dings to the silver. All that's really needed is a light polish to take off some of the remaining tarnish on the piece. The bottom of the vase bears full R&B hallmarks with a design pattern of X57. Just a beautiful piece of tabletop silver!
