Josh Turka, of 5th Quarter Butcher Shop, will make his third appearance in The TastingRoom on February 9th, serving up Parisian style ham, a 60-minute egg, and cassoulet,followed by a Galette de Rois by Goose Chase Cake Design for dessert. The Local’sown Sarah Nagle will be presenting an incredible French wine with each course. Not to boast, but we think this event might just be the epitome of the French expression“joie de vivre.” Before moving to Vermont, Josh worked for more than ten years in Boston arearestaurants and butcheries. Here in the Valley, he specializes in whole animal butcheryand charcuterie, and works exclusively with Vermont farmers.
