Martin Vajčner, "Veltínské Zelené" 2022

From the westernmost extent of Moravian (southern Czech's broader windswept, arable plains) viticultural potential, this is 100% Veltínské Zelené (Czech Grüner) from 3 of 8 (small!) vineyards that Martin organically cultivates. Grapes are hand-harvested, gently foot-crushed while a portion of the wine's volume is separately semi-carbonically macerated. Juices are blended and spontaneously ferment in Moravian amphorae and neutral oak barrel. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
