Gamay from 100 year old vines in Fleurie, just on the outskirts of the appellation lines though still classified. (From the importer: "It’s a 60 year-old, 1.5 hectare parcel belonging to a local retired vigneron who admires Yann’s wines and wanted him to work with the fruit.") Granite soils. Cold carbonic maceration followed by élevage in concrete tanks. A touch of SO2 added at bottling.
