The Japanese Knot Bag is a simple design made extra special by patchworking your own fabric! This asymmetrical design allows you to loop one handle through the other to keep the bag closed. It’s a fun and easy project, perfect for a beginner. We’ll start by practicing a straight stitch, sewing on curves, and topstitching. Then we’ll patchwork scraps together and then learn how to sew the tote and lining together. Bring your own scrap fabrics or use what we have! You’ll leave with a finished knot bag and a whole lot of confidence!
