The bracelet size measurement is the TOTAL inner circumference of the bracelet. Total circumference refers to the total circular measurement: the end to end measurement (taken on the inside of the cuff bracelet) + the gap. That total measurement is the approximate size of wrist the bracelet will fit. The gap or opening is usually 1" to 1 1/4". Smaller size bracelets will have a little smaller opening and as the bracelets size get bigger, it will have a larger opening. Some bracelets can be adjusted a little bit at the opening. Always be careful doing this. N
